BIOGRAPHY

Onyx Volta (they/them) was raised in the exotic suburbia of the Midwest, surrounded by breathtaking vistas of cul-de-sacs. concrete parking lots, and sprawling strip malls.

After relocating to NYC, they found a calling as a self-taught multimedia artist and disruptor. They have curated or assisted in the production of various events across the United States - art installations, immersive experiences, renegade dance parties, giant trampoline shenanigans, and much more.

Onyx is an agent of collective liberation. They seek to manifest this by serving in the expansion of liminal spaces and altered states of consciousness through play. They believe that these opportunities enhance cognitive flexibility and the capacity to reimagine reality, contact new potentialities, and connect to others with mindfulness, equanimity, and compassion.
